Courthouse Bench Project
In Collaboration with our South American affiliate,
Paisaje Artistico, we recently created a new way for youth from around the world to connect and learn internationally.
Introducing:
This project brought together 24 children aged 9-13 in a first of its kind cultural exchange project. The classes were connected with video projection. They made traditional crafts that taught about their cultures, played games, and asked candid questions.
We created a documentary about this experience that demonstrates how we dreamed up a project spanning five countries, three languages, and over forty collaborators!
We plan to return to Maras, Peru and to expand the program to other countries. If you are interested in volunteering or donating, please let us know!
