2025 TEEN INTERN COHORT

This year's group of interns began on March 19, just as we were mopping flood water mud out and making repairs. We have a full group of ten diverse and talented teens this year and they are excited to get started on the adventure of creating their own unique project to serve our community. They will be meeting with mentors in their fields of interest, going on campus visits and cultural field trips, learning teamwork in project building, and most of all making beautiful art together!

We look forward to sharing their progress throughout the season.

The 2025 Crew!
This year's group consists of some returning from last
year and some new to the
program.

We had the excellent problem

of more youth showing up than

we expected! We are starting

strong with a lot of momentum!

2024 INTERN GRADUATES

The 2024 Internship focused on poetry and performance. Interns met once a week for 8 weeks beginning  February 26, 2024. The interns organized a wonderful public performance and gallery exhibition for a packed house at Snowbird Coffee Company's first community event.

Interns had the chance to work closely with professional performing artists Lane Shuler and Jonathon “Courageous” Clark, known collectively as INK.

The pair travel worldwide delivering content to universities and arts organizations.

We would like to thank the TN Arts Commission, the Appalachian Community Fund, and The East TN Foundation for their generous program support.
